I'm jus sayin'
BUT does anyone notice a pattern with GSG? Scoots go over there, get taken apart/stripped, while the owners aren't there and shit goes missing. Even Jessie and James have had shit go missing out of there. I wonder if SR had anything go missing? While I in no way condone stealing, I do wonder if maybe it is some kind of cosmic retribution related to bad karma or just coincidence. Either way warn noobs of such accusations, true or not people need to know about that kind of thing.

Wednesday Ride Night
Phở ; often written pho in Australia,New Zealand, United Kingdom, and the United States, is a Vietnamese noodle soup usually served with beef (pho bo) or chicken (pho ga). The soup includes noodles made from rice and is often served with basil, lime, bean sprouts and peppers that are added to the soup by the consumer.
Thanks to Wikipedia for the picture and definition, for more info see:
1st beer is on me tonight.

Jeff Olson and the DMBK shirt
I met Jeff, aka “Grim” when I first moved to Denver from El Paso about 10 years ago. Besides being a total lush for Jack and Coke, Jeff when he is sober enough, is also a pretty sick artist - specializing as a graphic designer/ illustrator.
You can find a bit of his work here:
Grim's WebPage

A while back I asked him if he could design a new DMBK t-shirt, I actually threatened him! I told him if he didn’t produce the goods that I would be jacking all of his Jack. Well, that got the ball rolling…
Jeff recruited Andrea to pose for the shirt: , photo below of Andrea taken by Sean Hartgrove.
The following pictures show the progression of the shirt design:

The initial idea came from an earlier DMBK concept Busk was working on – “Titties and Ice-cream”. Jeff was going to work with Busk’s first pic to rock-it and make it better. But in the end Jeff decided that it would be easier to start fresh – though. with the same idea as Busk’s “Titties and Ice-cream”

Ice cream has been replaced w/ a fist, plus a banner was added.
I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek to see where the pic is now… SICK!
Jeff is a bit of a perfectionist and is taking his time with the final piece. The finished design is very close to being complete.
I’ll update as we go… and hopefully with some more pics..

Really?
Sorry for lack of a Wednesday post, shit got a little hectic in the real life.
After the crap that happened last night with Sterling I will be taking a break from TR.
When someone who really doesn't know the whole 'lame-ass internet story' starts bringing shit up that they were not involved in, it makes me fucking crazy. So the best way to avoid having shit like that happen is to not moderate or visit a forum that I have a great affinity for (5 years will do that shit). I understand that this is what happens when people don't like you (me) or the way you (I) do things at times, so instead of continuing down that path, I'm gonna stop and smell the roses. I will have more time to get this blog up to par finally!
You 'Nikkas' know how to find me!
Love,

MonSta Ride Video from The SickBoys very own Joey6P!
Video from Joey6P of the Sick Boys!
Good Shit!
Good Shit!
MonSta Ride RunDown
As usual the annual Sportique Monsta Ride did not disappoint. I heard close to 90 scooters attended, and we were easily the most well represented group! Rolling up to Sportique as a group with 15 very different bikes will do that for you. The questions started to roll in, especially for SR who brought what was the most talked about and photographed bike of the afternoon. Congrats Homie and thanks for reppin that DMBK sticker! Julie from RivalGang had cold PBR's which I would normally turn down but it was 11:30am and I needed a pick-me up! Got a chance to catch up with some scooter folks that I haven't seen in a very long time, and also got a lead on a cherry 50cc ItalJet Dragster (watch out).
After a quick rundown of the Route from the Sportique guys we left through to alley and over to the Rich Neighborhood, which apparently is having the roads re-done. WOW, what a shitty stretch of crap/road, I'm really surprised but happy no one took a spill. After riding through that shit we hit some DTC roads followed by the ever popular (remember when we did that shit 3 years ago?) Cherry Creek Dam Road. The view of the Reservoir was amazing, as well as the panoramic view of the mountains behind us, with some still visible smoke in Boulder. This was followed up with a trip on the I-225 frontage road, where on the highway a group of about 50-60 Harley's were going by, CLASSIC!
This is where the ride gets a little slow through Aurora. The only stop on the ride was at the 'Wings Over the Rockies Museum' for a photo and safety meetings en mass. We rallied up and ended up on Smith Road which if you have ever ridden on you know has horrible holes around the train tracks, luckily everyone managed to spot them in time, and I even saw a dude on a Vespa go over them at 30MPH with a damn passenger, must be nice to have ground clearance and good suspension or just no smarts. We passed Suba which I had heard was gonna be out front wagging their dicks around but they wussed out I guess, maybe next time Troy?
Made it to Sportique Denver where I promptly parked in the shade and and began to contemplate what to do for next years riding season. Big Steve had a box of deliciously half-melted chocodiles, which he gave to me and I handed out, this was better than the PBR earlier in the day. After an hour or so of chilling and trying to plan what we were gonna do next, a few of us did a ride through downtown to Karma @ Broadway and Ellsworth. Not normally a place I would eat, but the pan fried pork dumplings were great, and your 2nd beer is free so shit! While I didn't try any of the edimae Tia and Aimee had, it did smell very good.
At this point I was pretty tired, said my goodbyes, and headed home behind Xtra. All in all it was another great ride. Many thanks to everyone who rode down to Sportique as group! Special thanks to the SickBoys out of FoCo, you guys and lady are welcome anytime. I'm gonna post your video Joey once I get your permission!
I think next year I'm gonna do a BBQ after this ride that will be invite / cool kids only so we aren't wondering what to do after this ride. Maybe do slow races and keg stands? Any suggestions?

DMBK "Right near da beach. Boy-eeee! "
"HvyW8" should be the name of my ruck considering that LiteW8's OLD scoot served as the bones and inspiration for this build... But its not! If it wasn't for the look of Dee's ruck and the few parts that I picked-up from his scoot I wud probably have the same scoot I do today but w/o some sick ass z-bars! Those parts plus a couple 808 top-secret tricks were the reason why I had the fastest stock ruckus (53mph) after I made the big move to the island. With that said - what was fucked up was that my shit, even at that speed, was always at the back of the pack. So naturally there was only one thing to do - buy some ridiculously over-priced parts and SWAP!
From Denver to Hawaii my scoot has seen many changes, a lot of pavement, snow, rain, potholes, parts, and its fair share of "oh shit dude... are you okay? That shit looked like it hurt!" comments.
So here it is...
it's pretty much done... have a few minor details to clean up plus I’m gonna rock a chopped bobbed tail soon. On the hunt for the Holy Grail of rims - one 12"front solid Daytona, so if u know anyone that might be sittin on one, please hit me up. Still have a few parts to order, need some more carbon shit to complete the one and only "El Churro".

BIG THANX to Beedo - thanks for helpin this poor "nikka" out - and fo the name -"El Churro".

Well Project Black & Blue (as I like to call it) is back on the roads with one very happy owner/rider.
